Mobilize the MAGIC City Project

Mobilize the MAGIC City - An Artist in Residence Program

Mobilize the MAGIC City will work with an artist for a year to develop a formal process to involve art and artists in everyday civic life.

Nationwide, artists are contributing to community planning and design to improve economic development, road safety, health outcomes, and more.

Apply to be the Artist in Residence - Apply by Nov. 28 at 5pm! Learn more here:

The artist will implement two creative placemaking hubs (think public art informed with lots of community engagement!) along Billings' first neighborhood bikeway, document the process in a Placemaking Playbook, and conduct a public arts committee feasibility study.
