According to the Princeton Survey Research Associates National Poll taken in 2012 more than 80% of American women have a positive view of people riding bicycles and two-thirds think their community would be a better place to live if riding a bicycle were safer and more comfortable.

The League of American Bicyclists debunks 10 myths about women and their view towards riding a bicycle. Despite these findings women are still vastly underrepresented as people who ride bikes.
