The following is a press release from the Billings Air Service Committee

The City of Billings, Billings Logan International Airport (BIL), in partnership with Visit Billings, the Billings Chamber of Commerce, and Big Sky Economic Development are thrilled to announce the extension of direct service to Las Vegas (LAS) and Phoenix-Mesa (IWA) through the 2024 fall season. This strategic air service extension increases capacity for two favored destinations for our tourism, business, and leisure travelers in Billings.

Flight extensions will include four weekly flights from Billings to Phoenix-Mesa from August 14th through November 6th, followed by three weekly flights the week of November 6th

Travelers to Las Vegas will have two opportunities for direct service via Allegiant through September. In October of this year, Allegiant will increase service to four times per week, ending mid-November.

Jeff Roach, Director of Aviation and Transit, Billings Logan International Airport, said, “At BIL we celebrate the expanded air service announced by our existing airline partner. This addition demonstrates confidence in the travel demand spurred by airport infrastructure investment, as well as, continuing economic development and increasing tourism activity in Billings and the surrounding region.”

This news follows Allegiant’s announcement of direct, seasonal service from Billings to Los Angeles (LAX) beginning this spring. These three opportunities will provide our community, and the larger region, with more frequent opportunities to conveniently fly out of Billings.

“The Billings Air Service Committee, comprised of the Billings Chamber of Commerce, Visit Billings, Big Sky Economic Development, along with business and community leaders, are dedicated to supporting BIL and their exemplary efforts to increase air service opportunities for Billings. Our entire community benefits from more opportunities to travel for tourism, business, and visiting loved ones. We value this most recent investment and look forward to a strong, continued partnership in the future.”

Tickets for this new flight service are now available for purchase through Allegiant’s website and mobile app.
