The Billings Public Library is hosting the inaugural Montana Kid Lit Festival on June 8, 9, 10, and 11.
The four day event celebrates children's literature and gives the community a chance to meet regional authors and illustrators, listen to their stories, and learn about their creative process.
Authors include Dorothy Patent, Sheila Ruble, Aj Otjen, Sabrina Half, LuAnn Rod, Kent Davis, Susan Adrian, Janet Fox, Sue Lawrence, Precious McKenzie, and Sneed B. Collard III.
Illustrators Jeanne Bowman, Jen Ard, Erika Wilson and Edward Tanzoch will take part an illustrator panel.

The festival is possible through partnerships with This House of Books, The Writer's Voice, Rocky Mountain College, Humanities Montana, and the Billings Public Library.
