The Billings City Council has been invited, last minute, TODAY at 2:30PM at the Babcock Theater! This is a high school entrepreneurial “shark tank” type event.
There will be 6 student businesses pitched to a panel of local businessman who will then decide on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Valley Credit Union will be giving the winner $5000.00, advertising assistance from its advertising firm, a year’s mentorship from the Billings Chamber and Rock31. Second place will receive $1500.00, and 3rd place will receive $1000.00.
These are some of the brightest and motivated students Billings has to offer. This is Billing’s future and exactly the folks we want to STAY in Billings, open businesses, and hire local folks to work at those businesses.
In the event there is a quorum of City Council present at this event, NO City-related business decisions shall be made.
