Two Candidates for the Billings Planning and Community Services Director will be interviewed Wednesday, October 12th, following a national search to replace Candi Millar, who retired July 28th. The candidates are Wyeth Friday, a 13-year employee of the Billings department who has been the Interim Department Director since Millar left, and Byron Hickox, who has been the Land Development Administrator for the Town of Waynesville, NC, since 2005. They were among more than 20 people who applied for the position. The interviews will begin with a breakfast meeting with members of the City Council and Board of County Commissioners at 7:30 a.m. at McCormick Cafe, 2419 Montana Ave. Although a quorum of both boards may be present, no other business will be conducted.
