Crime Mapping
Crime Mapping, a third-party service, provides residents with a means to view recent crime activity by neighborhood. In addition, if a crime occurs in your area, you can also sign up to receive an automated email notification of what occurred.
Neighborhood Task Force Reports and Interactive Map
The City of Billings is divided into nine different neighborhood task force areas. These are community groups that meet regularly to discuss the issues affecting their neighborhood. The Billings Police Department assigns a Sergeant to each area to discuss crime activity and trends at these meetings. The BPD Crime Analyst creates a monthly crime report and updates an interactive crime map, which is viewable in your browser, for the task force areas.
The task force groups are a great way to get involved and have a voice in your neighborhood. Go here for a list of the areas and contact information.
