Built in 1965, Fire Station 2 is known as the Maverick Fire Station, home to our Technical Rescue Team. Engine 2 Serves the Billings South Side and Downtown areas. It houses an engine, a medium rescue, two water rescue craft, and collapse/USAR rescue trailer. It is automatically due to all extrication accidents, water rescues, or any other technical rescue in Billings. Additionally it is home to our pump test pit to test the engines pumping capacity annually, a training tower to drill on multi-story responses, and multiple small USAR training props to sharpen our rescue technicians skills on collapse rescue and Urban Search and Rescue Techniques.
