Fitting a Helmet

Helmets come in many different sizes and shapes and choosing the right one for you is extremely important. In Billings it is a law that all persons under the age of 16 must wear a helmet. You can follow the "2-V-1" rule to ensure your helmet fits properly.

Your helmet should sit level on your head with room for two fingers to fit between the helmet and your eyebrows Adjust the side straps so they form a "V" shape around your ears
The chin strap should be tight with enough room for one finger to fit between the strap and your chin
