Biography
Scott Aspenlieder was born and raised in Culbertson, Montana, and moved to Billings in 2013 to start Performance Engineering. Scott and his wife, Heather, are happy to be raising their three very active boys in our community. When Scott’s not coaching his son’s sports or attending games he spends his days overseeing landmark projects within the community and managing daily operations of Performance Engineering, as one of its owners and Principal of the firm.

Scott graduated from Montana State University in 2005 with a BS in Bio-Resource Engineering. He has always been interested in water and irrigated agriculture and chose to be a water resources engineer to stay connected to the agricultural community he grew up in. Scott also loves working with and supporting people in rural areas who may not otherwise have access to these foundational professional resources.

Scott has a passion for helping those around him. He has freely given his time to many local organizations including Chase Hawks Memorial Association, St. Vincent’s Foundation, ACE Scholarships, 1776 Foundation, and is a former board member of the Montana FFA Foundation.

“My family and business have been incredibly blessed in living here and it’s incredibly important to me to find ways to give back to a community that’s given us so much. We’re at a critical crossroads right now in Billings and we’re seeing some exciting opportunities to take our community to the next level. The opportunity to lead our community through that transition for future generations and create a place we can all be proud to call home is something I’m excited and honored to be a part of.”
