Captain Brian Krivitz attended the University of Montana graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Brian started his law enforcement career in 2004 working in Glendale, Arizona. In 2007 Brian was hired by the Billings Police Department. Brian worked in the uniform patrol division until 2013 when he was promoted to the Detective Division. In 2015 Brian was promoted to Sergeant where he worked as a night shift commander. In 2016 Brian transferred back to the Detective Division as a commander. In 2018 Brian was promoted to Lieutenant where he served as afternoon shift lieutenant and later as Detective Division lieutenant. Brian was promoted in 2024 and currently serves as Captain of Professional Standards. Brian retired from the SWAT Team in 2020 after serving over ten years.
