Biography
I was born and raised in Billings, and received my BA in psychology in 1998 at Saint Mary College, now know as the University of Saint Mary, in Leavenworth, KS.
I am Executive Director of Angela’s Piazza: Women’s Drop-In Center, and have been employed there since 2010, after serving on the board for four years. My entire career has been in the nonprofit sector, working with folks on the margins of society.
I have raised 5 incredible humans who are now out putting good into the world, and am happily settling into my new role as Abuelita. I love gardening, crafting, camping, rafting, and I enjoy my role as choir director of the Spanish choir at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, formerly known, in part, as Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Community is at the heart of everything I do, and I aim to work with Council on ensuring strong public safety, affordable and accessible housing, and protecting our precious green spaces and trails.
