Biography
Kendra
Shaw grew up in Billings and moved back years ago to raise her family under the
Big Sky.
A graduate of the University of Montana, she holds an MFA from the
University of Michigan where she was also a Zell Postgraduate fellow. The
recipient of fellowships and grants from the Sustainable Arts Foundation,
MacDowell Colony, Corporation of Yaddo, and Ucross, she is currently a freelance
copy and grant writer.
She lives with her husband and two young girls a couple of blocks from downtown and hopes to help shape Billings into a city her girls
want to return to as adults.
