Are bus to bus transfers free?

Yes, transfers are free within the first half hour of boarding a MET bus. To transfer, notify your the Bus Driver of the transfer and you will be provided a transfer slip if you paid with cash. Give this slip to the Bus Driver on the second bus when boarding. If you pay using an UMO fare card or smartphone app, the system will track your transfer eligibility for the 1/2 hour timeframe, and you will not need to get a transfer slip from the Bus Driver.
