City of Billings celebrates new playground at Castle Rock Park in the Heights

What a fun and memorable morning we had at the ribbon cutting of Castle Rock Park's new playground!

We had our Rec2U team playing games and doing crafts, the Billings Public Library Bookmobile, Altana Federal Credit Union ice cream van, along with Proof Donuts & Coffee for some tasty treats! Children take part in Rec2U activities, the newest program offered by Billings Parks and Recreation

The playground is now ready to be played on! A child rides on the zip line at the new Castle Rock Park playground

The playground at Castle Rock Park features a nature-play design with integrated landscaping. It is officially the tallest play structure in Billings Parks, at 33-feet tall. The playground also includes a designated play structure for young children ages 2-5, swings, a 90-foot zipline, rope climbing and rock climbing elements.
