Development Counsellors International conducted its seventh national research study in 2023 on the behaviors and preferences of relocating talent.

DCI surveyed 1,000 people across the United States ages 21-65 who moved to a new location at least 100 miles away from their previous residence in the past three years. 

Quality of life is the number one reason talent relocates. Public safety was the most important quality of life factor for respondents.
