The City of Billings will award Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding (CDBG-CV) to eligible nonprofit organizations and/or public agencies to support coronavirus response for low-income individuals and families in Billings.
Step One: Download theCDBG-CV Grant Application Guidebookand become familiar with the process, details, and timelines. Gather the required information in preparation for completing the online application forms.
Step Two: Complete and submit the onlineGeneral & Organization Information - Part 1application form which will include general applicant organization information. Part 1 must be completed and submitted ONCE, regardless of the number of projects / activities proposed.
Step Three: Complete and submit one or more of the following applications:
Public Services - Part 2 Application: Public services are generally social services provided to those in need. Activities may include emergency subsistence payments, health / mental health care, food delivery, non-congregant shelter, internet access, etc.
Public Facility - Part 3 Application: On-site improvements to buildings or properties owned by the government or owned by a nonprofit organization and the property is open to the general public during normal business hours. Activities may include new public restrooms, handwashing stations, wireless internet access in public spaces, and small-scale construction projects to enhance social distancing. .
If an organization is proposing more than one project / activity, multiple Part 2 and / or Part 3 applications may be submitted.
The CDBG-CV application must be submitted by 5:00pm MST on Friday, May 14, 2021.
